“Cherokee Man” “Two Wolves” Original Becca Tracey Song

Nonfiction books have always been my favorite genre. Reading about the American Indians has interested me since I was a child. I disliked the way that the American government treated the American Indians. I already felt sad inside so reading about their history with the US government was at times very sad. I find their folklore fascinating and think there are many lessons that people can think about by reading their cultural stories. The Cherokee story of the Two Wolves inspired this song. This song came very quickly and while I am not an American Indian myself I felt as though this song was written by a Cherokee person. I was imagining that I was the old man and also that I was one of the grandchildren while writing this song. This was recorded on 11/10/10 at TGI Fridays on West End Ave. in Nashville, Tennessee and Chris Dunnett is playing the guitar. If you like this song subscribe or comment:) Also as a songwriter I would be trilled if an artist wanted to record this song & you can find it registered with BMI under County of Rock Music, Becca Tracey.
