Yep the stone-age people who liked chasing entire herds of buffalo off a cliff (to consume only a few) – really nice “flourishing” people.

when are THEY going to thank the actual civilized people for dragging their asses out of stone age?

Does “dragging them out of the stone age” mean wiping out 95 percent of the entire native american population? Does it mean systematically persecuting, oppressing and destroying them? I find it very strange that you commented on someone using his own opinion without “scientific evidence” when you just did it your self. What I would like to know is why does someone need to prove things with science (especially since some of the people you comment to? are Natives of this land even with intermarrying). Why not just ask the Natives. Science can not prove a persons or group of peoples future behaviors all the time. The Natives of this land may or may not have changed their ways….

But right now we know the determination of them keeping their culture and traditions. They were forced and still are trying to be forced to assimilate to the “American way of life”. That is not out of choice. It seems to me that you are asking if they would live off of the land? if they had a choice. That means if they weren’t forced to live and act a certain way. I believe some would and some wouldn’t. It’s a personal choice. But they weren’t given that option for selfish reasons.
